1) I love to be at home. I have found that I spend way less money this way and I can keep my house clean.

2) I love to watch sports with Ben and this is the only reason we have TV. Cause I can't live without the sports!!

3) I love having people over. Since I don't get out much I love to have "parties" with my friends and their kids.

4) I am a little Obsessive Compulsive but am starting to over come my issues!!

5) I love the dairy and would spend more time their if I could.

6) Some day when I am rich I want to travel the world with my family.

"Briggs the Builder"

It was the funniest thing...Briggs has been walking around all day playing with his tools and saying I am Bob the builder...Then about 15 minutes ago he walked up to me dressed like this and said, "Okay mom I am ready to go"...Where I asked...He answered " to work"!!

I told him to smile and this was the result, what a cheese ball!!

Christmas Reflection

Well we had a wonderful Christmas spending time together...I love to have a really great excuse to spend time with my family. I decided to post a few pictures of the fun the children had and how excited Ben really gets!!!

Shaping our lives....

Well recently we have decided to make some BIG changes. First we decided to get a YMCA membership so that we could get back in shape(after how many years). Well I am tired all the time and things just seemed kinda crappy so we decided to make changes. Second I am dejunking my house!!! I love a clean home and let me tell you most of the time it is pretty clean, but for some reason clutter still seems to creep up on me. I have made a vow to my self to get rid of lots of junk.... I have decided that every week I want to accomplish at least 2 big projects. This week I am already to start number 3. Waaahooooo!!! We also are putting the kids in some sports to so they can have some fun and hopefully they will learn to love sports like we do. Briggs just started wrestling last night and I will post pics as soon as I take some. Allysen will start Gymnastics in January cause that is when the next class will open up. I am so happy that they will be able to get active and enjoy some things that we enjoy and that we can watch the do. So that is the update on us lately and I will try to do better about posting.

What a wonderful World.

On Saturday Ben and the kids and I all went up to the top of Munson Creek. It was a fascinating drive with Phenomenal views. We love to use our wood heat, so then we aren't paying a fortune to heat our home and I just love the feel of the wood heat. It gets kind of expensive though if you can't chop your own wood. ( like last year when we had to buy all of our wood) so either way it costs a lot of money. So this year we wanted to be a little more cost efficient when it came to heating our house for the winter, we got some nice friends that have access to the forest, and a chainsaw, and borrowed a truck(so we could each drive one) and head to chop wood ourselves. Okay so it was a lot more work, but totally worth it. I took tons of great pictures cause I just couldn't resist. Ben thought I was a little bit nuts, but who knows if I would ever make it up there again.

Satan???

Well it has been a little bit funny lately listening to my 3 year old talk. He loves to talk to himself and if you interrupt, he will say "Hey I am just talking at my self." We just laugh....well anyway I decided that I wanted to make sure that my children knew who they were and where they came from. So one night I laid down with the New Testament scripture reader and started to explain the plan of salvation to my children. It was great they asked questions and I explained everything that I could think of. So when we got to the part about Satan, I explained that he was a very bad guy and that he wants us to be mean and do naughty things. Briggs was totally enthralled. So now he walks round the house telling everyone that is doing something wrong that they are following Satan and that they are going to live in a bad place if they don't be good. Oh geez.....maybe I blew it. I love the fact that he has some reason to be good and he tells me every time I asked him why he did what he did and he says, I was following Satan I don't want to follow him so I will follow Jesus next mom. How cute!!!

Little Clippers here I come!!!

Allysen's first day of Preschool at Little Clippers!!
At first Allysen was really excited to go to school until she found out that we weren't going to stay. The tears started rolling and soon she was having a melt down. After going now for 2 weeks she is excited again with out the tears. She knows that we will come back for her and she has found out how exciting school really is.

After just these first 2 weeks Allysen came home from school on Wednesday and showed me how she could write a "B". I was so impressed that I continued to ask her what other letters she could write. She proceeded to write all of our names and more. I was so proud and completely shocked what a little Superstar!!!
