County Fair....

And as you can see....they no one but the best teaching them. I love this Man!! I am so proud of what he has instilled in his children and how hard he works to achieve his goals. This year we took it all home, from Junior Champion clear up to Supreme Champion!! I was so impressed at the job our fitter Chris did and how hard Ben worked to get the cows look their BEST too. What an accomplishment this year!!

Allysen went from loving her baby "Elsie" to being scared to death and by the time she was ready to show, she was so brave that she showed her! We were so proud of her.

What a Proud Mommy moment this was. My little baby all grown up and off to conquer the world of showing cows. Just like his daddy!

Allysen's Birthday!!

Puzzles, puzzles and more puzzles

This is so amzing to me!!! I can't hardly believe that Briggs is able to do these 24 piece puzzles all by him self. I got these puzzles a couple of weeks ago for Allysen, little did I know that these would be Briggs' favorite thing to do. Any time I don't know where he is, I can walk into the living room to find him like this. I had all the puzzles sorted into 10 little baggies to start out, but before I knew it he had mixed them all up in the box. I was worried that he wouldn't be able to do the puzzles then because it would be to hard for him. He just sits down and spills all the pieces all over the table and gets to work. One by one he completes the puzzles. How amazing, at 2 1/2!!!
Look at the wheels just turning in his brain....shhhhh......you can almost hear them!!!

Briggs.....and Football

Briggs loves football and he got the jersey he is wearing from papa Jack for Christmas and won't take it off for anything (well if mommy can bribe him with something good then he might give it up), but only long enough for it to get washed.

Since Briggs loves football so much he is constantly trying to tackle everyone that is in his way. One day he kept tackling one of the little boys that i watch and i asked him if he hurt him. He said "No mom, I just play football". So then we had to have a little talk on how he could only tackle daddy or papa and not little kids. He agreed and so every night dad walks in the door from work he has to be ready to get tackled. The dog even watches Briggs a little bit closer now too. It may not be the best thing right now, but I am hoping that it pays off when he is playing in the NFL!!!

The Rains came down and........

...... the floods came up! Okay so I am a little late at posting and a little out of order. This is December 3rd at our new house. It is almost enough water to go swimming in!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!! Well it was pretty interesting, but we all survived it and nothing and no one was hurt.

This picture was taken from our front door. The water wasn't this high five minutes earlier, and it continued to rise over the sidewalk into the night. I did move my car though just to be on the safe side. I love watching nature move in mysterious ways, well as long as it stays outside!

Our dog

Well, I just realized that our dog aka Maverick isn't on our blog. What a horrible mother. He is like our third child and goes everywhere with us and is almost as well behaved as our other two. My family is constantly giving me crap about how i treat him like he is one of my children. Oh, well we love him and he loves the children. He is incredibly protective over them too.

Christmas is Coming

This is just the begining to our celebrating of the Holiday season at our house.


Allysen and Briggs were so excited to get their own christmas tree this year. We went up Trask River road to pick out christmas trees. It was a cold morning, it was even snowing up their. (darn it if i wouldn't have forgotten the camera) The kids picked this tree out, helped cut it down, and even packed to the truck and then in to the house. They had such a good time!
